Where is Beaver's Bend Mining Company located?
We are located in Hochatown, Oklahoma, near beautiful Broken Bow Lake. Our attraction is easy to reach and close to many popular Hochatown cabins, restaurants, and outdoor activities.
What ages are your activities best for?
Our activities are designed for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teens. Many adults enjoy participating too, especially with mining, mini golf, and wax hands. Younger children may need help from a parent during some activities.
What activities do you offer?
We offer a variety of hands-on and interactive activities, including:
- Gemstone, gold, and arrowhead mining
- Fossil digging for dinosaur fossils and shark teeth
- Indoor dinosaur-themed miniature golf
- Shipwreck Cove 18-hole outdoor mini golf course
- Wax hand dipping
- Rides on Fluffy, our Tyrannosaurus rex
Can kids keep what they find?
Yes! Kids get to keep the gemstones, fossils, shark teeth, and arrowheads they discover while mining and digging.
Is this an educational experience?
Absolutely. While kids are having fun, they also learn about gemstones, dinosaurs, fossils, and paleontology. Our staff enjoys teaching kids about what they find and where it comes from.
Is everything indoors?
We offer both indoor and outdoor attractions. Our dinosaur mini golf and mining areas are indoors, while Shipwreck Cove mini golf is outdoors.
