Beaver's Bend Mining Company is a family-friendly tourist attraction located in Hochatown, near beautiful Broken Bow Lake. Since opening our doors in 2017, we've been giving families a place where kids can unplug, get curious, and discover the excitement of learning through play.
We believe some of the best memories are made when kids are having fun and learning without even realizing it.
Discover, Learn, and Take Home Real Treasure
At Beaver's Bend Mining Company, kids become prospectors, paleontologists, and pirates all in one visit. Guests can purchase different mining bags and pan for gold, gemstones, fossils, and arrowheads, keeping everything they find.
As kids uncover their treasures, our friendly staff teaches them about:
- The different countries gemstones come from
- How fossils and artifacts are formed
- What makes each stone unique
They'll leave with real gemstones, like amethyst and emeralds, along with a better understanding of the world around them.
We're proud to be super family friendly, with activities designed for kids of all ages-and plenty of fun for parents too. In addition to mining and fossil digging, we offer:
- Indoor dinosaur-themed miniature golf
- Shipwreck Cove, our outdoor 18-hole mini golf course

- Rides on Fluffy, our Tyrannosaurus rex
